This is a link to the last song I wrote, in November 2011.

I had in my mind that I was going to put it out for Christmas, then my band GSM wanted to do it, so I left it alone for a while.  In the end we never did, so I posted it on my music page at Mixposure a few months ago.

I wanted to write something about the people I see in the street, the people who don't have all the home comforts that most of us have.  I don't mean the young ones sitting on a London pavement, looking morose, with a cup in front of them.  I've seen too many of them packing up at the end of the day and taking their season-ticket ride back home to surburbia with the money they "earned".  I'm talking about the people for whom the street is the only home there is - who look at the world with very different eyes to me.  Who see the wealth of the world slipping past them in a Lexus or a Mercedes, who know that it will never be them on the other side of that window.

As it says in the song - "still waiting for the meek to inherit all the earth..."
